Should by rights be making guitar based rock judging by their picture. (Indeed they emerged from the ashes of The Hardy Boys, but that's another time, another place.) Alternatively, from their music they should look like a mix of strangely-haired 80's electronic boffins, with lyrics about nothing in particular. Happily, Flame Up defy convention and make affecting songs of urban decay to an electronic setting. Sadly the band seem to have vanished without trace as keyboards/sampling meister Michael has emigrated to Canada. |
